Recipe: Bourbon Banana Pudding

Last weekend we celebrated Steve's birthday and he specifically requested banana pudding instead of cake. So I rose to the challenge and had to knock it out of the park. The pudding was scrapped out of the dish every last bit! Who's a bad blogger and accidentally deleted the only copy of the picture? This girl!


  • 1 container of Cool Whip
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 box of vanilla instant pudding
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 1 box of Nilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 tbsp sugar


  1. In a 13x9 dish, layer the Nilla wafers.
  2. Next layer the sliced bananas.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, bourbon, milk, and vanilla pudding mix.
  4. Fold in Cool Whip, stirring until blended.
  5. Layer over bananas.
  6. Lastly, layer some more Nilla wafers.
  7. Let set in fridge for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.
